Quirk's new Truck Center in Quincy, MA is seeking an experienced medium/heavy-duty mechanic for our busy Service Department. Compensation will be based on experience, however, we are always willing to train the right candidate!

Job Duties include:

* Using Diagnostic Equipment and Special Service tools to test vehicle components

* Test driving heavy-duty vehicles for diagnosis and repair verification

* Diagnosing heavy-duty vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, steering, electrical, air conditioning, etc

* Providing the Service Advisor with an estimate of any additional repairs needed

Job Requirements:

* Minimum 1 year experience working on vehicles over minimum 10,000lb GVW, over 26,000lb GVW preferred

* CDL license required over 26,000lb GVW

* Establish and maintain relationships with customers

* Assess individual client needs and think of innovative ways to get results

* Experience in managing and organizing work time and work related activities

* Excellent interpersonal skills

* A positive attitude

* Strong willingness to learn
